So glad you're feeling better, Mel. Good thing your dad was there to help Mom get you to a doc, too. Somehow I don't think she'd have as easy a time toting you around as he did. ;)

MAKE SURE YOU KEEP THE NAME OF THAT MED WITH YOU!!!!

I wouldn't even touch anything containing sulfa for about two years after my reaction & two wks in hospital trying not to die.

Drug reactions are THE WORST!

Get well!!!!

That may be the best part. NOT remembering.

There are bits I don't remember from the first few hours. But the rest of the two weeks? Not being able to eat b/c all the skin peeled outta my mouth; getting staph infection; getting a monster yeast infection; overhearing the doc say he was worried about liver damage; having tape embedded into my back b/c a couple of stupid nurses TAPED the gauze on; being told that there was no more of the special burn dressing gauze b/c of snowstorm and Tommy going out to buy it...

Sheesh!!!

Yeah. Don't take no meds you can get by without!!!!

It's just safer, huh.

*rolls eyes*
