Lots of stuff

The Lord of the Rings Exhibition was awesome! I was kind disappointed about how much stuff they didn't have. But it was still awesome. The costumes they had were, Aragorn, Legolas, Arwen, Gandalf (the grey), Kind Theoden, Sauraman, the Dark Lord, Frodo (the miniature one, for his double), and the same with Pippin and Merry's. Aragorn's costume was muddy, and ripped on the shoulder. If you haven't seen the movie, then you don't get the whole ripped shoulder thing. :D They had the Plantir, Sauramans relics, and pretty much all of the jewelry. They had the One Ring, which we (being Kris, Steph, and I) decided that it definitley wasn't the one they used in the movie. It was 14 karat gold, it was displayed in a room by itself, surrounded by cameras, and had a security guard that looked like he'd kill you if you breathed near it. Yeah. They had Borimir's wax sculpture (in the boat with the broken horn and everything). It looked so real, it was creepy. Except for the fact that, in the movie he was shot three times, but there were only two arrow holes. I wanted to kick someone, it totally ruined it. They had this big sculpture of a scene from FotR, when the cave troll breaks through the tomb door in Moria. It, of course, had the cave troll, and goblins hanging off the wall. They had it in a dark corner, with blue lights, it was really wierd, but it totally felt like you were inside the movie. They also had the cameras like they used in the movie, to scale Gandalf and Frodo to the right sizes, when they were sitting in the wagon together. They took pictures of everyone. We got like six different pictures, and if Steph and/or Kris EVER scan and send them to me, I'll put them up here. AND! OMG! They told us that We would be seeing RotK on IMAX. . . But it ended up NOT BEING THE FULL I MAX FRAME. I was so mad I almost stormed out of the theatre.

The rest of the week I was in Ohio we hung out, being dumb, and taking dumb pictures. And on Stephs birthday we went and saw King Kong, went out to dinner and TGI Fridays, and paid an arm and two legs, for our food. Then we went to the Festival of Lights at the Cincinnati Zoo. My Aunt (Stephs mom) got free tickets somewhere, so we totally didn't have to pay. So that was cool.

When I got back home, I slept for a week straight, not really. Then on Tuesday, the tenth, to Wednesday the 11th, I went to Alabama with Ab-normal, and her family. Her parents has business stuff to do, so Ab-normal, her little sister, and I stayed in the hotel the whole time. As we couldn't leave the hotel, duh! There was totally a mall across the parking lot from the hotel, and we had to see it from our bedroom window...If we could have left, that would have been awesome, even though we didn't have any money. Anyway, the hotel had an indoor pool. So we were in the pool the WHOLE time! I probably still smell like chlorine. I washed my bathing suit the day after I got home, and it's still stinking up my closet.

I talked with the Dollar General manager again. And I start work sometime this month, after they get their hours back. The head people cut their hours way back, and everyone hardly has any hours.

That's up to date enough for now!
